This leash is not waterproof. However, the nylon materials dry quickly with no impairment to the leash itself. It also has a colorfast property so there's no concern to color run into your dog's fur when it gets wet.

Does this work for strong dogs?

Yes, this leash comes in three sizes for small, medium, and large dogs. The XL leash is 1” (2.5cm) wide, which will work great with strong dogs who like to pull. It has a tensile strength of 661 lbs / 300 kg.

The elastic bungee part of the leash works as a buffer towards sudden pulling strength. And the second handle at the bottom will provide better control over your dog when you need to keep them by your side.
